Now, most people imagine the womb as a pretty quiet place, but it’s actually pretty loud in there. Not only can a baby hear the sounds of his mother’s body while in the womb, but they can also listen to noises that come from the exterior as well, voices in particular.
And by the time they are born, babies can actually recognize the voice of their mom. It’s a familiar sound that comforts them. The baby in the video below was born deaf, and the clip captured the heartwarming moment the precious little girl gets to hear the voice of her mom for the first time.
To say that the baby’s reaction is remarkable would be an understatement. The baby visibly gets emotional as she gazes into her mother’s eyes who is lovingly holding and speaking to her.
