A Chipped Tooth Saved This Woman’s Life! What Did Her Dentist Discover During a Routine Consult

Lisa Epsom, a 34-year-old British woman, chipped her tooth while trying to open a bottle of juice for her son. When she went to the dentist, the doctor noticed a hard lump inside her mouth. Shockingly, tests revealed the woman suffered from advanced stage cancer. The surgery to remove the cancerous tumor lasted 14 hours and left Lisa with half a face, but doctors were able to save her life. Later, doctors managed to reconstruct her face using muscles and skin of the woman’s thigh. ‘I’ve lost my looks and feel disfigured. People stare at me in the street but I’m alive and I can watch my kids grow up, so it’s a small price to pay,’ said Lisa.
