Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced last year that they would like to put a pair of eyeglasses in front of our eyes. After that, various renditions of this concept have been published, but now we know more precisely how the smart gadget of the future will look like, thanks to a patent registered under the company name.
I have seen several AR glasses in recent years that were more or less viable. At the same time, VR technology is only getting into the best of times, although the means of using it are still very limited: something Facebook has to recognize. Mark Zuckerberg has already introduced a concept of real-world glasses augmented at last year’s F8 conference, and it looks more like a device that could replace smartphones in the future.
