Shane Burcaw, 22 years old, is an author, writes articles for a newspaper in the US and has a gorgeous girlfriend. It all sounds like a dream, just that people around him always confuse his girlfriend with a nurse. That’s because Shane is suffering from spinal muscular atrophy, a genetic deteriorative disease that destroys nerve cells in the muscles. Shane needs a wheelchair to get around, but that didn’t stop him to conquer Anna’s heart, a beautiful young woman his age.
But those around them can’t seem to understand why a girl like her would fall for a guy like Shane and often assume Anna is Shane’s caregiver.
