An Arkansas waitress got the shock of a lifetime while working a part-time shift at a local restaurant. The 19-year-old student got a $2,000 tip on a $278 meal from a regular customer who came in with a friend. The customer was still there, so the young waitress went over and hugged her. She said: “I thanked her a million times. She said, ‘I know I don’t have to tip, there’s no gun pointing at my head, it’s something that I want to do for people.’ She used to be a waitress, too, so she just likes to give back.”
