In May 2012, John Seaman’s 20-year-old daughter Kellie was hit by a drunk driver. Kellie was 5 months pregnant at the time. She, her friend and her 7-month-old-cousin were going back home from a family cookout when a drunk driver ran a red light and hit their car. Kellie’s friend was killed on impact, while her cousin received a traumatic brain injury. Kellie stayed alive for 391 days, but sadly passed away last year from her injuries.
