The story of woman who murdered her 10-year-old son because he had ears too big shocked the entire world. The boy’s mother said she wanted to spare his son from “a life of suffering”. She says he was always mocked because of his physical appearance.
The woman took her son to the hospital in Turkey where he underwent surgery to have his ears downsized. Dissatisfied with the operation’s outcome, the mother led her son to the ladies’ room, where she strangled him with a scarf she wore around her neck. The woman admitted her crime, but said she killed her son to save him from further embarrassment.
