If you’re a country music fan, then you’ve most likely heard of Nashville, Tennessee. Also called Music City, Nashville is home of the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Fans and hopeful performers flock to the city wanting to achieve or witness musical greatness. Jill Johnson, a Swedish country/pop star, was in Nashville to film a televised documentary where she met Doug Seegers, a homeless musician struggling to make it off the streets. It was not only the beginning of a beautiful friendship but also a musical collaboration. Watch them perform “Going Down to The River”, a song Doug Seegers composed himself.
