Located in Vietnam, this hotel is best known as the “madhouse”. Made of huge tree trunks and branches, the entire building looks a lot like a tree house. In reality, the building is made of conventional materials. But there is nothing conventional in terms of the architectural principles used by Hang Nga, the architect who imagined the madhouse.
The daughter of a former president of Vietnam, Hang had to face almost no restrictions when she decided to build the unusual hotel. The Vietnamese government allowed the woman to do whatever she wanted, with no regard to rules and regulations. And the result is amazing.
