The birth of a baby usually means the culmination of a relationship between two adults. But for this young couple from California, this important moment was very sad and painful. The baby, a girl, had problems in the womb and unfortunately died shortly before birth. Doctors took the woman to the emergency operating room where they performed a caesarean section to remove the baby that had died inside of her. What followed left everyone speechless. For 9 hours the couple posed for heartbreaking photos with their stillborn baby. ‘I was proud of her, and I wanted to show her off and make sure her memory lives on.’, said dad.
