“The Quokka selfie” is the newest craze sweeping the Internet. This new trend stars the Quokka: a small marsupial living in the southwestern islands of Australia. Quokka is often referred to as “the happiest animal in the world” because of its unique appearance. The fury animal has glowing dark eyes and a permanent smile. These animals are very gentle and friendly, and people can approach them without problems which is a good thing as no one seems to be able to resist the quokka’s naturally cheerful, sugar-sweet expression. Not bigger than a cat, the quokka was one of the first Australian animals to be discovered by Europeans.
