Swedish School Kids Get A Glimpse Of Where Their Lunch Comes From. We Should Copy This!

Knowing where you food comes from and how much work goes into making a meal makes you appreciate food more. The Swedish school lunch system is based around the idea that students should not only be offered fresh food that is cooked rather than microwaved, but also that students should get more involved in the cooking process. Students are invited into the kitchen and shown how their meals are cooked. This way, kids know exactly where the food is coming from and how much effort goes into it all. This is such a great idea that more school should implement, don’t you think?
