Student with wheelchair struggles to leave house every morning – Bus driver builds her a ramp

Not everything in this world is as it should be. There’s a lot of injustice and shortcomings, but we all can do our part to make the world a better place. It’s easy to point your finger at others and blame them for everything, but the only way is to move forward is to take action.
The man in the video below did just that – and his story is going viral.
Thomas Mitchel is a mechanic. His job is to make sure the buses that drive children to school are working properly and he sometimes also fills in as a driver when needed. But what he did for a little girl goes well beyond his job description.
Thomas met ten-year-old Lydia on one of the days he worked as a substitute driver. The girl takes the bus to school every day, but because she is in a wheelchair, the on-and-off process more she has to go through is more difficult.
After picking her up several times, Thomas noticed that the girl’s front door porch wasn’t suited for someone in a wheelchair. So he decided to help.
The man built her a ramp so that she and her mom could have enough room to maneuver the wheelchair. This way, the little girl won’t have to struggle to leave the house in the morning when taking the bus to school. Or ever, for that matter.
These are the kind of stories we should all be sharing. I hope you’ll take a second and show this to all of your friends and family online.
