Yin Meng, a 29-year-old woman from China, had been complaining of severe headaches for six years when she finally decided to go to the hospital. There, doctors made a shocking discovery: the woman had a 4inch parasite growing inside her brain! A hospital spokesman said: ‘The woman was found to be suffering from a parasitic infection called Sparaganosis which had been growing inside her for years. It was attacking her nervous system.’ The woman contracted the parasite as a child when she used to catch and eat live frogs. She said she could remember the feeling of the frog ‘jumping’ as it went down her throat.
