She Went to the Doctors For a Nosebleed. She Had No Idea It Would Save Her Family’s Life

A nosebleed is rarely a sign of a serious disease, but all that blood running from your nose can be scary. However, for a family in Texas, a nosebleed turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Fourteen-year-old Crystal Enns’s nosebleed led to a diagnosis of kidney disease. Doctors said that she urgently needs a transplant, so her parents immediately offered to get tested as potential organ donors. Neither was a match. Still, the tests turned out to be life-saving. Both mom and dad were diagnosed with serious diseases. And if it wasn’t for their daughter’s nosebleed, they would have never been tested.
