The shark in the video below was spotted by a fisherman who alerted the authorities. As you can see, the odd-looking shark has a mouthful of needle-sharp teeth and a strange body shape. This type of shark is often referred to as a “living fossil” because it has been here since prehistoric times. They live between 1,968 and 3,280 feet (deeper than humans can go) which means they are rarely seen.
