The Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) is a condition that is spreading like fire throughout the country, so it’s important to be aware of what the disease is all about and how it can be treated. HFMD is actually a viral infection, but unlike a common cold or flu, it can be much more dangerous.
The condition is extremely contagious and spreads from those infected to healthy persons quite easily. Once the person becomes infected, he or she will start to get painful red blisters all over the hand, foot and mouth areas, hence the name.
