I don’t know about you, but I get sweaty palms just thinking about having to speak in front of a large audience. The thought of hundreds of people analyzing my every move and word is extremely nerve-wrecking. And I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.
So I can only imagine what must have been going through the mind of the 18-year-old in the video below when he first set foot on stage at X Factor UK. Jack Mason had been postponing sharing his talent with the world precisely because he gets extremely nervous on stage.
Luckily, though, he managed to overcome his nerves and deliver the performance of his lifetime. Although he has little experience when it comes to singing professionally, Jack managed to impress the judges with a stunning version of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s World.”
It’s incredible how some people just transform when they begin to perform. Singing definitely brings out the best in Jack, and we’re looking forward towards hearing more of him soon.
