As obesity continues to affect more and more children and teens, so have cases of Type 2 diabetes. The 14-year-old girl in the video below is just one of the millions of teens who have this disease. The girl was suffering headaches and mood swings, but it wasn’t until her mom noticed a dark ring circling her neck that they’ve realized something was not right. The dark circle wouldn’t go away, so they ultimately went to the doctors. Apparently, a dark circle around your neck means your insulin isn’t working properly, so if you ever see it on yourself or somebody else, you should take immediate action.
