Leanna Parent, a three-year-old girl living in Canada, has become the third generation of her family to take up pole dancing. “Leanna watched us practicing before she could even walk – her first experiences were at a young age and were progressive. She has never had any lessons per se, but performs her own acrobatics in an attempt to imitate us,” said the little girl’s mother. Despite having faced criticism from people who think that pole dancing is inappropriate for a child, the girl’s family claims the activity develops physical strength and coordination, skills all children need.
