Music can make every special occasion, every celebration, better. There’s nothing I would rather do on Christmas Eve that sit around the Christmas tree with my loved ones, drink eggnog or hot chocolate and listen to our favorite Christmas songs.
And I know I’m not the only one. Music just has the power to put you in the right mood, instill a sense of overall calmness and bliss and make you think about all the things that truly matter around the holidays.
So, if you’re anything like me, then chances are you’re already started putting together the playlist for this year’s holidays. Every family has their own songs they like to listen to during this time of the year, but if you’re looking to add some new songs, I have an excellent suggestion for you.
The brilliant singers from Pentatonix just released a version of a classic Christmas hymn “How Great Thou Art” featuring the talented Jennifer Hudson, and it’s a song you’ll want to listen in a loop during Christmas.
