On rainy days I just want to hide under a blanket and watch movies all day. But thanks to artist Peregrine Church, rainy days just got a lot less depressing, at least for people in Seattle. His latest project called ‘Rainworks’ includes a series of water-activated art and hidden messages that only appear when wet. Their purpose is ‘to turn rainy days into something to look forward to’. The truth is that it’s going to rain no matter what. There’s nothing we can do about that, so why not do something fun with it? I would love to see this kind of art in cities across the country.
