This glass-bottomed swimming pool lets you swim 500 feet above Houston

Few things can beat a day at the swimming pool, right? Especially if there are cocktails involved. But what if that pool was 500 feet above the ground and had a glass bottom? Would you still look forward towards taking a dip in this case?
Dubbed the Sky Pool, the infinity pool in the clip below is located on the 42nd floor of a luxury apartment building in Houston, Texas.
The pool extends 10 feet over side of Market Square Tower giving the illusion of walking or swimming on air.
The clip below shows one of the tower’s resident casually walking around on the 8-inch thick plexi-glass, the only thing separating him from the ground below.
The man actually looks like he is stepping into thin air, with tiny cars zipping below in the busy street, and it’s enough to give some serious palpitations to anyone who is even slightly afraid of heights.
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting sweaty palms just by watching this footage. Would you dare to go for a swim in this one-of-a-kind swimming pool?
