Sight is a gift that we often take for granted. We forget how incredible it is to watch a sunset or look your loved ones in the eyes. We forget how lucky we are to be able to see all the colors in a field of flowers or the sky full of stars on a beautiful summer night.
The gift of sight is truly precious, and if the video below is any indication of the truth, this is something that not only applies to humans but dogs as well. The adorable Irish Terrier named Duffy had many struggles with his health, and had a serious case of diabetes.
One of the worst consequences of his disease was Duffy losing his sight. The dog became depressed and was struggling to do even the most basic of activities, like take a walk or play with his owners.
Luckily, though, Duffy was able to get a surgery that helped restore his sight. The moment he gets to see his family again for the first time since going blind is a deeply touching one. You can clearly see from his reaction just how happy and thankful he is for being able to see again.
