Due to the nature of the work he does and the title he was born with, Prince Harry gets to meet a lot of new people on a daily basis. And with all the new faces he sees every day, it’s only obvious that he won’t be able to remember all of them.
Still, the woman in the video below, waited for no less than eight hours in the pouring rain just to see Harry and shake his hand. She didn’t even hope for Harry to recognize her as being the woman he met while he was working with the Australian Defense Force and stopped at the Sydney Opera House.
Then, Prince Harry picked the 97-year-old from a group of wonderful ladies who served in the Australian Women’s Army service. The woman caught the Prince’s eyes thanks to the many medals she was wearing, including a Red Cross medal.
The two shared a special connection from the get-go, so when Harry saw her in the crowd at a recent event during a Royal tour, he took time to go up to her and give her a hug. The moment didn’t go unnoticed by the members of the press. Take a look:
