So when he noticed a drone hovering in his backyard where his teenage daughter was sunbathing, dad decided it was invading his family’s privacy. The man went after his shotgun and took down the $1,800 drone. Shortly after, he got to meet its pilot and three of his friends. “If you cross that sidewalk onto my property, there’s going to be another shooting,” Merideth says he told the men. With so many people sending drones into the sky, I have a feeling this is not going to be the last time something like this happens.
