Cut your potatoes like this. End result is a delicious bloomin’ baked potato to die for

Everybody loves a good baked potato, but if you’re looking for a new way to elevate the original recipe and delight your guests, this is the recipe for you.

If you’ve done blooming apples or onions before, this will be a piece of cake for you, because it requires a similar technique. Even if this is your first time hearing about blooming being used in connection to food, chances are you’ll be able to pull this off.

The whole secret lies in the way you cut the potato. There’s a special way of doing it so that the potato gets nice and crispy on the outside while remaining soft on the outside. Also, because of the way it is cut, all the delicious condiments and fats used will get into the potato, adding flavor.

Once you cut it, the hard part is pretty much done. All there’s left to do is place it in the oven for a half an hour and then cover it in melted butter and garlic before you put it back in the oven for an additional half an hour.

If you want, you can also add bacon and cheese. You can find the full recipe and all the details you should know right here in this video.
