Aliya Saleem, a-10-months-baby girl in India, tipped the scale at a whopping 40 pounds! Her parents are desperate and fear for their daughter’s life. When she was born, the baby girl weighed 8 pounds, but in just a few months she gained over 30 pounds. “We have to buy her clothes every two weeks because the old ones get too tight,” said mom. Girl’s parents have another son aged 5 who has a normal weight. They said, however, that they had a daughter who died at age one because of complications caused by obesity. Despite her weight, the baby girl is the favorite child in the village.
