The small city of Sunnyside, Washington, is being terrorized by a legion of crows that brings Hitchcock’s classic movie, The Birds, to life.
Around 10,000 crows descend on the homes in Sunnyside every night. Apparently, the birds are attracted to the area because they can share food with the thousands of cows in nearby dairy farms. The crows usually start to descent after 4:00 PM. In addition to dropping feces, they also create noise pollution, disturbing the quiet life of the town’s residents.
Although the police got involved in the town’s efforts to get rid of the annoying birds, no permanent solution was yet to be found.
