When Robert Guthrie asked his son what he would think about living in a gas station, the boy thought he was crazy. But the man simply fell in love with the place and decided he is going to make it his home no matter what. While restoring the building, he tried to keep as much of its original charm as possible. He managed to incorporate items of cars and gasoline to remind his guests of the house’s history.
