What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think about Catholic nuns? Well, whatever it may be, chances are it has nothing to do with them entertaining a crowd at a school gymnasium by dancing their hearts out, right?
It’s safe to say that this is a side of nuns that we don’t get to see very often, which is why this clip is such a rare treat. In it, we can see no less than 12 nuns putting on their best moves, and it’s enough to put a smile on anybody’s face.
To make things even better, their high-energy choreography was set to “I Will Follow Him” from the movie “Sister Act.” Now, before you go ahead and watch their performance yourself, I want to point out a detail that you may overlook otherwise: the shoes the nuns wear in the clip.
The colorful, sport sneakers might not go well with their conservative, nun clothes, but they definitely add more interest to their outfit and are a good indicator of the fact that this is no ordinary performance.
